Kierra Keller:

We extend a warm invitation to riders of all backgrounds and bike types to partake in the pleasures of the ski hill. Moreover, we advocate for riders to broaden their horizons by exploring diverse bicycle options. My personal journey with Skibikes commenced in 2021, an experience that has seen me deeply engage within the industry, fostering connections with accomplished riders across the expanse of the United States.

Furthermore, I take great pride in my affiliation as a Board Member of the American Skibike Association, actively working to advance the adoption of Ski biking across a growing number of resorts. My residence in the Tahoe region since 2014 has granted me a profound understanding of Tahoe's local nuances, and I additionally impart instruction to young learners, aged below 5, in skiing and snowboarding disciplines.

While my proficiency spans various sliding devices, I am seen happiest on my Skibike endeavors. A testament to my expertise, I have had the privilege of introducing numerous novices to the art of skibiking, even those with no prior encounter with snow. 

My teaching approach takes away body strains of the initial day on snow, replacing it with an immediate delight of gliding down the slopes.

It is advisable to possess a minimum height of 5ft to effectively operate a ski bike, although I must humbly acknowledge that my 7-year-old daughter might present a differing viewpoint on the matter. See you on the slopes!

Daniel Behar: 

Daniel is an avid outdoorsman and a champion of adventure sports, seamlessly blending his passions for mountain biking, motocross, and snowboarding into his latest venture. His athletic journey, marked by achievements in high school and college water polo, laid the foundation for his lifelong commitment to sports and competition.

With a diverse background that includes positions in the food industry, senior caregiving, and special needs education, as well as coaching in water polo and dirt biking, Daniel brings a rich tapestry of experiences to his endeavors. His prowess as a competitive dirt bike racer was crowned by winning the 2023 AMA District 38 Open Nov Class Championship, showcasing his dedication and skill.

Daniel's discovery of ski biking struck a chord, uniting his love for mountain biking and snowboarding with the thrill of motocross, but with its own unique twist. He instantly fell in love with the sport, finding it the perfect amalgamation of his interests. His passion for ski biking is at the core of his entrepreneurial spirit, driving him to work with ski bike pioneer and champion Kierra Keller to start Try a ski bike and BYK Academy
